About

The DPW Administration serves as the central office for the agency, and is responsible for the overall management and direction of the Department of Public Works. Responsibilities include the establishment and/or administration of personnel policies, processing of payroll documents, purchase requisitions, contracts, and maintaining budgetary information.

The Administration Office also conducts internal analyses of the effectiveness and efficiency of the Department operations. Responsibilities include the preparation of an annual budget request, and quarterly budget forecasts along with detailed analyses of Department expenditures. Emphasis and focus is placed on overall training, and on safety and health issues, to improve employee operational skills and to improve the workplace safety environment.
