There’s always a place for you at Yonkers Parks, regardless of your age or fitness level. You can kayak on the Hudson River or walk along our waterfront esplanade, relax in your neighborhood park and take in the stunning scenery at Untermyer Gardens.
There are miles of biking, hiking and walking trails to enjoy and dozens of recreation programs offered by our professional Parks Department staff.

Are you ready to run with us on October 21st?
The Yonkers Marathon is back and it’s better than ever! Start your training for the 93rd running of the Yonkers Marathon taking place on October 21, 2018! Can't do the full 26.2 miles? No worries, we also have a half marathon.
We even have a 5k, that's only 3.1 miles! Bring a friend, run (or walk!!) with us, and join us for a post race celebration at Van der Donck Park!

Donations to Yonkers Parks
The City of Yonkers Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department provides the opportunity for members of our community to donate or dedicate trees, benches or other parks amenities within our park system. In order to allow for a coordinated and consistent program for soliciting and recognizing contributions, we have established the following guidelines.
Community Recreation Scholarship Application
