There's a Park for Everyone in Yonkers
There’s always a place for you at Yonkers Parks, regardless of your age or fitness level. You can kayak on the Hudson River or walk along our waterfront esplanade, relax in your neighborhood park and take in the stunning scenery at Untermyer Gardens.
There are miles of biking, hiking and walking trails to enjoy and dozens of recreation programs offered by our professional Parks Department staff.
With more than 70 parks, playgrounds and facilities, there’s something for everyone at Yonkers Parks.
Summer Music and Movies
Join us every Thursday for our Music and Fridays for our Family Friendly movies at various City parks throughout Yonkers. Music started at 7:00 pm and ends at 8:30 pm and Movies start at dusk. Bring your blanket and seating and enjoy a night of music and movies with the Parks Department.
This week's Music is Showtime Dance Band at Cerrato Park, located on Riverdale Avenue and Vark Street on Thursday, July 18th.
This week's Movie is Incredibles 2 at Rubeo-Cieslinski Park, located on Frederic Place and Edwards Place on Friday, July 19th.

Donations to Yonkers Parks
The City of Yonkers Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department provides the opportunity for members of our community to donate or dedicate trees, benches or other parks amenities within our park system. In order to allow for a coordinated and consistent program for soliciting and recognizing contributions, we have established the following guidelines.
Community Recreation Scholarship Application
The City of Yonkers Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation is now offering a limited number of scholarships for our Camp, Aquatics, and Skating Programs.For information and a Scholarship Application in English and in Spanish.
