There’s always a place for you at Yonkers Parks, regardless of your age or fitness level. You can kayak on the Hudson River or walk along our waterfront esplanade, relax in your neighborhood park and take in the stunning scenery at Untermyer Gardens.
There are miles of biking, hiking and walking trails to enjoy and dozens of recreation programs offered by our professional Parks Department staff.

Check out our 2019 Spring / Summer Brochure for more information on all the swim programs the Parks Department offers. Swim Placement will take place on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 between 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Mark Twain Pool located at 160 Woodlawn Avenue, Yonkers. Registration for the Spring 2019 aquatics session begins on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 8:00 pm online. Classes begin the week of June 1st and will meet twice a week for 4 weeks. Donations to Yonkers Parks
The City of Yonkers Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department provides the opportunity for members of our community to donate or dedicate trees, benches or other parks amenities within our park system. In order to allow for a coordinated and consistent program for soliciting and recognizing contributions, we have established the following guidelines.
