Employee Assistance Program

The Westchester County Employee Assistant Program, under the leadership of Pamela Jones-Brice, LCSW, CASAC, has partnered with the City of Yonkers to provide exemplary services to City employees. This program is tailored to providing assistance to City of Yonkers employees and their families with issues of concern in their personal and professional lives.  These include job stress, conflicts at work, marital or relationship problems, substance abuse, legal issues, depression and financial worries and many more. 

The EAP also works with departmental supervisors to help indentifying those employees who may be experiencing such problems. They can then make appropriate referrals while understanding issues facing their employees and supporting them through this period in their daily work. 

It is the responsibility of the Department of Human Resources and the EAP Program to provide direct referral services to qualified, certified professional agencies and practitioners. 

Generally, EAP is a free confidential service that provides education, information, counseling and individualized referrals for employees and their families, thereby assisting with a wide range of personal and soicial issues.  Employees may contact EAP on their own or through the recommendation of a loved one, co-worker, supervisor or union delegate.
