We encourage anyone filing for an exemption, e.g., Veteran, Senior Citizen, Disability, etc...to submit their application as soon as possible and ideally on or before Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
Final Roll Publication
The 2020 (2020/2021) FINAL assessment roll will be available for public inspection in City Hall Room 100 at, 40 South Broadway Yonkers, NY 10701, as well as online @ www.yonkersny.gov (Click Assessment Roll underneath City Government at the bottom of the page) on Friday, April 10, 2020. Office hours are 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
Taxpayers are advised to have their block and lot numbers available if they wish to view their 2020 FINAL assessment.
Board of Assessment Review
The Board of Assessment Review is scheduled to meet for appointments from the last Monday in January to the third Friday in February each year for all appointments requested no later than December 15th.
In addition, the Board of Assessment Review is scheduled to meet primarily for corrections of statutorily defined administrative errors on the following dates:
- Friday, January 24, 2020 @ 9:30 AM: This meeting is scheduled to continue until all statutorily defined administrative errors have been heard.
- Thursday, March 12, 2020 @ 9:30 AM: This meeting is scheduled to continue until all statutorily defined administrative errors have been heard.
The Board of Assessment Review is scheduled to meet for Personal Hearings on the dates and times below.
These meetings will continue until all appeals have been heard.
