Director Euthimios Theotokatos
Euthimios 'ET' Theotokatos currently serves as Director of the Office of Constituent Services, a position he was appointed to by Mayor Mike Spano in January 2016. ET brings a decade of professional experience working within government, the non-profit sector, and business to this role.
Prior to this position, ET served as Assistant to Mayor Mike Spano. This position entailed fielding and addressing questions and concerns from individual citizens, homeowner associations, community groups, and business districts. In addition to dealing with external stakeholders, ET was tasked with working on various inter-departmental matters and participating on review committees for municipal contracts. ET also served as the mayor’s liaison to the Muslim American Advisory Board.
Before joining the City of Yonkers, ET worked for a global health and disaster response organization. During his four year tenure in the non-profit sector, he had the opportunity to advocate for millions of Americans who were uninsured and under-insured. ET’s primary responsibilities included expanding the number of charitable clinics utilizing the organization’s free medical donation program and creating specific initiatives aimed at fighting diabetes, hypertension and chronic respiratory disease. In addition to his on-going duties, ET was also designated as a liaison to the organization’s emergency response working group. This allowed him to work on a number of disaster response efforts including field deployments to: Long Island, New York following Super Storm Sandy, and to Moore, Oklahoma in the wake of devastating tornadoes.
ET graduated from Iona College with a B.A in Mass Communications and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree from American University.
