Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano to Host Satellite Tax Offices at Three Locations Across City
YONKERS, NY – March 20, 2019 – Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano today announced that the City will launch the Mayor’s Satellite Tax Office on Monday, April 1st at the Bernice Spreckman Community Center, formerly the Coyne Park Senior Center, (777 McLean Avenue); Tuesday, April 2nd at Homefield House (911 Saw Mill River Road) and Wednesday, April 3rd at Will Library (1500 Central Park Avenue).
The Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services and the City’s Tax Department will be available from 9:00am to 7:00pm at the Will Library and Bernice Spreckman Community Center/Coyne Park locations and from 9:00am to 6:30pm at Homefield House. All County taxes are due April 8th.
“As always, our residents are a priority here in the City of Yonkers and as Mayor, I am aware that it can be difficult to make it to City Hall during the day,” said Mayor Mike Spano. “Our Satellite Tax Offices were created to provide an alternative location that’s close to home and in your neighborhood.”
In addition to accepting tax payments, the Mayor’s Office of Constituent Services will be on hand to serve as a one-stop shop for residents and offer assistance with a wide range of issues. The Office works one-on-one with residents and serves as a link between the public and City government.
For more information, residents can contact the Office of Constituent Services at (914) 377-6010 during regular business hours. Residents can also contact the Mayor’s Help Line, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 377-HELP (4357) for assistance.
