The mission of Jawonio is to advance the independence, well-being, and equality of people with disabilities and special needs in Westchester. Jawonio provides job placement, supported employment, employment, day habilitation, service coordination, vocational evaluation, psychosocial and drop-in center services for adults with physical, developmental, and/or emotional disabilities. Our aim is to help our consumers achieve their optimal levels of functioning by enhancing their health, educational, and employment opportunities. Jawonio provides the framework that assures these individuals the opportunity to live as valuable members of the community. Jawonio is an affiliate of the Cerebral Palsy Associations of NY State and a founding member of DSPA (Disability Service Providers of America).
